amaro nonino

La Viña

La Viña

Rye has always a favorite drink base for us, and this one from Michter's is fantastic in this interesting cocktail. The stiff rye is mixed with more subtle Solera sherry as well as amaro Nonino. It results in a nice sipping drink, perfect either before or after a good dinner (or both). Recipe by Alex Day Ingredients: 1 oz rye 1 oz amaro Nonino 1 oz East India Solera sherry 1 dash orange bitters Mixing: Stir all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a coupe. No garnish needed. Gla

Housekeeping Please

Housekeeping Please

We've been given the chance to try a new product from Hotel Starlino [https://www.thestarlino.com/] - namely a very light and refreshing rosé aperitivo. This bottle could not have arrived at a better point, it is just perfect to use in these type of low ABV longdrinks that fit summer so good. This aperitivo is bittersweet in just the right way. We don't like overly sweet products, but this rosé certainly balance on the right side of sweetness. We also really enjoy its colour, with this pretty

Transcendence

Transcendence

When Matthias [https://www.instagram.com/servedbysoberon/] posted this drink some time ago we just immediately felt the urge to re-shake it. We love that the cocktail contains both mezcal as well as an amaro and on top of that our all time favourite green bottle - Chartreuse. And as always when Matthias is behind the specs, the drink tastes phenomenal! Cheers and enjoy your Sunday! Transcendence Recipe by Matthias Soberon Ingredients: 1,5 oz mezcal 0,5 oz amaro Nonino 0,75 oz lime juice

Friûl Libar

Friûl Libar

Whenever Peychaud's is in the recipe you can be pretty sure the cocktail will turn out nicely coloured. Somewhere between orange and pink is where the Friûl Libar ends up, and it tastes as good as it looks. That amaro Nonino is so good, definitely one of our favourite amari. We also really enjoy how generously it welcomes other spirits into its company. In this case it's mixed with strong gin, and then everything is balanced with just some lemon and sugar. This cocktail has it all! Friûl Liba

The Amen Corner

The Amen Corner

The Amen Corner, by Nick Brown is a riff of The Paper Plane. And it's delicious! Those muddled mint leaves add a lot of character despite not being visible in the finalized drink. And, as lovers of Maraschino cherries this is definitely a drink for us. Not one, not two but THREE cherries is the suggested garnish. Well we couldn't be happier, these cherries are truly some black pearls! We recently bought a set of vintage cocktail picks, mimicking different fruit and vegetables. None of them dep

Baudouine

Baudouine

We might have placed it on a rubber snake, but apart from that there is nothing winding about this cocktail. Because the Baudouine, created by Gino Pellarin is a very straightforward drink despite its many ingredients. The result is so delicious! The chocolaty notes really shine through, mixing very well with the dry sherry and the aromatic tequila. This is one of those cocktails you wanna sip slowly on, enjoying for a long while. Elequence

Elequence

ELOQUENCE Monkey 47 has always been a favourite gin for us. We like the beautiful bottle and label on their own, but the product inside is so delicious as well. A rather unique gin it is, and many say it's best enjoyed neat on its own. This rule we break here though by combining it with several of the things we like. Clementine juice, lime juice and simple syrup to add acidity, sweetness and colour. And then we also add amaro Nonino and Cocchi Americano for a subtle spiciness and some more alc

Forty Thieves

Forty Thieves

Ok, prepare yourself for an absolutely unique and delicious drink! The Forty Thieves cocktail by Gino Pellarin kind of blew us away already on the first sip. There is so much going on at the same time, but somehow all those ingredients play very well together and marry into something quite spectacular. The recipe we found in The Nomad Cocktail Book. Yes, we finally bought their cookbook just to get hold of the attached cocktail book. Actually just this single cocktail made it worth it, it's tha
