Maybe you shouldn't carve and cocktail at the same, but we did it anyway - with great caution of course. Because inspired by Moa Ott and Highland Park we carved a wooden spoon ourselves, and we did so while sipping on this cocktail. Made with Highland Park scotch and mixed in a rather peculiar way with tequila and herbal liqueur this drink is pretty fascinating. It has a really nice aroma and it tastes wonderful. The carving of a wooden spoon went surprisingly well. Thankfully Moa had done

We have actually had this drink some years ago, at Bar Goto in New York [https://www.bargoto.com/]. We were so stunned by the beauty of simplicity in this drink. Some very “pure” ingredients combine with elegant shiso and it creates this sophisticated, low-ABV-cocktail. Finding shiso leaves in Sweden is not too simple though. Since being to Bar Goto we've stayed on the lookout for these leaves, and when we finally found them they were red rather than the original green. But somehow it only ad

For a while we've been wanting to mix a really luxurious, tequila-based cocktail. We've been looking for just the right, elegant enough recipe, as well as a high quality tequila to base it on. In Josefine Sondlo's and Madeleine Rapp's book “Tequila & Mezcal” we found Ivy Mix's recipe for the Palo Negro. A complex drink even though theres only three alcoholic ingredients in it. A large amount of tequila, a big splash of spicy palo cortado sherry and then another splash of dark rum. Two distinc

There's orgeat in this one, one of our favorite sweeteners. It adds sugar, but also a nice velvety texture to drinks, plus it has a certain exotic vibe over it. Here it is combined with tequila and lime and then also Aperol which adds a cool bitter element to the drink. Recipe by Tifanny Kirk Ingredients: 1,5 oz blanco tequila 0,75 oz Aperol 0,5 oz fresh lime juice 0,5 oz orgeat Mixing: Shake all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a glass filled with crushed ice. Glassware:

A real quencher this one is. During summer these type of highball cocktails catch our interest a little bit extra. Also we think it is nice to use Suze. Bitter it might seem at first, but mixed with other ingredients it can transform into very unexpected flavours. Suze is almost a bit magical, and quite exciting to use because of that. Dried Meadow Flower Recipe found via Difford's Guide Ingredients: 1,5 oz reposado tequila 1 oz elderflower liqueur 0,5 oz Suze 0,5 oz lemon juice soda

With tequila leading the way, the characteristic Suze is still able to put its watermark on this cocktail. We love the combination, and think the yellow/golden colour of the drink is so fitting for summer. Bending Blades Recipe by Christopher Day Ingredients: 1,5 oz silver tequila 0,5 oz Suze 0,5 oz Manzanilla sherry 0,75 oz grapefruit liqueur Mixing: Stir all ingredients with fresh ice and strain into a coupe.
