Pins and Needles

We thought this recipe sounded so elegant just by reading it, so we of course had to make it. And the result does not disappoint at all, this is a luxurious serve.⁣ ⁣ We accentuated the elegance not⁣ by garnishing the drink itself, but rather the surrounding with a few sleek straws of grass, and we choose simple coupes to pour the drink in.⁣ ⁣ We really liked the boozy taste as well as the golden colour of this drink. The perfect spring serve!⁣ Pins and Needles Recipe by Jonathan Lind Ingred

We've been loyal followers to Steve over at @boxesandbooze [https://www.instagram.com/boxesandbooze/] for a long while. His pairing of great cocktails with intriguing puzzle boxes is simply put irresistible.⁣ ⁣ And we have so many saved recipes from Steve's feed. The Lumière is one of them, and it caught our attention because of its resemblance with The Last Word - our favorite cocktail all categories.⁣ ⁣ Our bottle of Wallflower gin, from Odd Society Spirits [http://www.oddsocietyspirits.com/

Two of our favorite ingredients are in this drink, cherry liqueur and amaro Montenegro. Both originate from old recipes, and they have been around for a long time. Hence, there's something rather poetic about mixing them together, and enjoying them combined in this drink.⁣ ⁣ The only downside of these ingredients is that they are not that rich in colour. The cocktail does turn out a bit brown. But don't let that fool you, it is still packed with nice flavour.⁣ Groceries for the queen Recipe b

Bringing the Swedish forest into drinks is something we've done before. This fir liqueur from Swedish Jonas Bronck's Spirit [http://jonasbroncksspirit.com/] is perfect to pair with pine-tasting Terroir gin from St George Spirits [http://www.stgeorgespirits.com/spirits/gins/st-george-terroir-gin/] - bringing Sweden and America together in liquid form. The cinnamon syrup used to sweeten this lime-heavy cocktail, adds further earthy notes to the overall flavour profile of the drink. We think this

So today it’s time for the final post in our series of Australian gins, and the turn has come to Moore’s Roots & Leaves dry gin. This product from @distillerybotanica [https://www.instagram.com/distillerybotanica/] is made using roots such as galangal and ginger, as well as leaves from mandarin and curry trees. The gin has a distinct flavour profile that we find very pleasing. In the Blushing Monarch cocktail we believe this gin works perfectly. It is combined with bitter Campari, sweet orange

While visiting Australia we met up with Inoka at @cocktailco.au [https://www.instagram.com/cocktailco.au/] and she took us to @distillerybotanica [https://www.instagram.com/distillerybotanica/] managed by Philip Moore. There we got to do a gin tasting as well as strolling the gardens where all the plants used to flavour the gins are growing. This half day at the distillery was mesmerizing to say the least. It was such an authentic experience, and hearing Philip talk about the love he has for

In this Negroni riff we thought it was very fitting to use the Spiced Negroni Gin from @fourpillarsgin [https://www.instagram.com/fourpillarsgin/] specifically made to stand up against the flavorful Campari. It’s a great gin, also on its own. But it certainly shines in cocktails like this one. The bottle of gin we brought ourselves all the way to Sweden from Australia. @sandra_l_weissel [https://www.instagram.com/sandra_l_weissel/] took us by car from Melbourne to Four Pillars Distillery. Just before Christmas, Belinda over at @thepatronsaintofgin [https://www.instagram.com/thepatronsaintofgin/] mixed this cocktail for us, as her contribution to the Secret Santé campaign. We were intrigued, not only by the thoughtful cocktail itself, but especially by one of the ingredients used, the Australian Økar amaro from @okarmaro [https://www.instagram.com/okaramaro/] which we had never heard of before. Well luckily enough we were just heading to Sydney at that time, so we managed to b
