We were actively looking for a new absinthe drink, and stumbled upon this one by Daniel Hyatt. And while there might only be eight drops of absinthe in the drink, it is still a very defining ingredients as expected.⁣ ⁣ What is particularly nice with this one is how the potent absinthe is mellowed by the honey - they really play well together.⁣ ⁣ Ginger liqueur is another ingredient that can be overwhelming if used in the wrong way. But we believe also the intensity of the ginger is mellowed by

Four Flush Cocktail

Four Flush Cocktail

We are always excited to shake vintage drinks. The Savoy Cocktail Book, with the creations of Harry Craddock, is packed with retro recipes that almost all seem to stay relevant.⁣ ⁣ The Four Flush cocktail is no exception. All four ingredients are widely available and used still, hey even that Swedish punsch is sweeping the cocktail world and can now be bought also outside of Sweden.⁣ ⁣ There are only a few drops of grenadine in the drink, and still it intensely colors it. We think the end resu

We thought this recipe sounded so elegant just by reading it, so we of course had to make it. And the result does not disappoint at all, this is a luxurious serve.⁣ ⁣ We accentuated the elegance not⁣ by garnishing the drink itself, but rather the surrounding with a few sleek straws of grass, and we choose simple coupes to pour the drink in.⁣ ⁣ We really liked the boozy taste as well as the golden colour of this drink. The perfect spring serve!⁣ Pins and Needles Recipe by Jonathan Lind Ingred

⁣ After seeing this recipe over at Cocktailpodden [https://www.instagram.com/cocktailpodden/] we knew we needed to try it with our Belsazar Riesling vermouth. There's something enchanting about recipes like this, with only two ingredients.⁣ ⁣ The Riesling vermouth really got its chance to shine here, backed up only by delicious maraschino liqueur, and of course garnished with a maraschino cherry and some tiny flowers.⁣ ⁣ We enjoyed this drink a lot. It is dry in a rather subtle way, while ther

While visiting Australia we met up with Inoka at @cocktailco.au [https://www.instagram.com/cocktailco.au/] and she took us to @distillerybotanica [https://www.instagram.com/distillerybotanica/] managed by Philip Moore. There we got to do a gin tasting as well as strolling the gardens where all the plants used to flavour the gins are growing. This half day at the distillery was mesmerizing to say the least. It was such an authentic experience, and hearing Philip talk about the love he has for

Limitations No. 2

Limitations No. 2

We spotted this cocktail over at @trufflesontherocks [https://www.instagram.com/trufflesontherocks/] and it was born when owner Jean-Félix was craving a Boulevardier but was out of Campari. Instead, he took all good things he had on hand and created this limit-filled yet limit-less cocktail. And it's a really good one! It's boozy, strong and in -your-face and that wonderful way that a cocktail can be. The Cynar adds the nice bitterness we've come to love in cocktails and the elderflower lique

Bamboo

We enjoy low ABV drinks that are still very much interesting, elegant and tasty. Bamboo is one of these cocktails, made with sherry and vermouth. It creates a dry but uplifting drink that you will definitely enjoy sipping on. We served this cocktail in new glassware. Not really coupes, rather tiny rocks glasses. We thought they were quite stunning when we found them in a charity shop. Bamboo Recipe adapted by Difford's Guide Ingredients: 1,5 oz fino sherry 1 oz sweet vermouth 0,75 oz dry verm

Snake Eyes

Akvavit cocktails are awesome. So when Jesse kindly shared his recipe for the Snake Eyes we needed to make it immediately. There’s a lot to like about this cocktail, first the pale golden colour, secondly the four gorgeous ingredients used and thirdly the amazingly tasting end result. Snake Eyes Recipe by Jesse L. Cyr Ingredients: 1,5 oz Linie Akvavit 1 oz dry vermouth 0,5 oz amaro Montenegro 0,25 oz cremé de cacao Mixing: Stir with plenty of fresh ice and strain into a coupe. Sink a brandied
