“Le Bateleur” - we just love the name of this Death & Co original by Alex Day. It's a true autumn cocktail with all those dark spirits in the same recipe. The gin obviously leads the way, but it is nicely accompanied along that way by Punt E Mes, Strega and Cynar. A quite Italian cocktail in the end, despite the french name.

This is a perfect slow sipper cocktail, high on ABV. It's also a 3,5 oz recipe so you're in for a long lasting indulgence. If you garnish with an orange twist like we did you also get a nice citrus kick that both tastes and looks good.

The reflector screen we use when we shoot our creations accidentally ended up partially visible in some of the photographs. We'd like you to think of it as the autumn sun, shining on those 1 euro plastic leaves scattered around the glasses 🙂

Why clear ice makes cocktails more beautiful.

The Importance of Ice

When it comes to crafting exceptional cocktails, every detail matters—and ice is no exception. Clear ice has become a hallmark of professional mixology, elevating drinks in both aesthetics and functionality. Unlike cloudy ice, clear ice is free of impurities and air bubbles, offering a pristine, glass-like appearance that enhances the visual appeal of any cocktail. But it's not just about looks.
