We thought it was fun making this sour drink that taste a lot like lime although no lime is used. Instead we made a limeless solution by combining 20 grams of malic acid with 40 grams of citric acid and 1 liter of water. (Just stir to combine).⁠ ⁠ Is it the same thing as lime? No it's not, and that's the whole idea. By using real lime a vegetal element is added along with the acid.
