Today our friend Christina celebrates her fiftieth birthday, and we are so eager to present this Cocktail Detour Original recipe to her.
We used rum and Aperol as the booze base, and added pineapple juice, simple syrup and fresh lime juice to balance everything. The pineapple juice creates a nice foam, as well as contributing with an exotic sweetness. We think it all works out really well and that it is the perfect birthday drink, with some tiki vibes.

1,5 oz light rum
0,5 oz pineapple juice
0,25 oz lime juice
0,25 oz Aperol
0,25 oz simple syrup
Shake all ingredients hard with fresh ice and fine strain into a coupe glass.
