Water Lily is a classic cocktail made with gin, orange liqueur, lemon juice and Crème de Violette. By substituting the latter for Kokoro Gin's blueberry and lemongrass liqueur we created the Water Lemon.

In this one we are also using Kokoro gin which is made with Japanese sansho berries. They give the gin a rather unique botanical touch, that we appreciate a lot.

Thanks to the blueberry liqueur this cocktail gets a nice pale blue colour. And while it's actually a bit difficult to capture in a photo, we liked the “nonchalant” look of this drink in its live version.

Taking classic cocktail recipes and just changing one of its ingredients can be very rewarding. Have you ever tried it?

Clear ice is denser and melts more slowly, keeping your drink colder for longer without diluting its

A Spirit(ual) Journey Throughout the North of Sweden

It has always been on our wishlist, to tour the more northern parts of Sweden. Our interest in spirits and cocktails have taken us to many places in Sweden and abroad, but until now not really more north than Uppsala. Well this just changed, as we got the chance to pay a visit to gin producer Norrbottens Destilleri. And this was just the start of five fantastic days, driving between so many beautiful spots.
