Cromulent

CROMULENT Today's original cocktail borrows both its proportions and its composition from one of our favourite cocktails, The Last Word. The Cromulent ends up much more yellow compared to the brilliant original though. And this is because we use both yellow Chartreuse, Strega and lemon juice. And substituting the gin in this cocktail is dry vermouth. It brings the same bitterness as gin but with lower ABV. Also worth mentioning is that yellow Chartreuse is less alcohol strong compared to green

Ephemeral

Ephemeral

The Ephemeral by David Shenaut is an interesting riff of a classic Martini cocktail. By using Old Tom Gin rather than regular gin, and by adding elderflower liqueur this cocktail gets significantly less dry than the original. Back To Basics

Back To Basics

Irene Benjamin is soon to compete with her creation Back To Basics, and she kindly shared the original recipe with us. It's a fun cocktail to make at home, because it's very visual and stunning thanks to the red wine syrup in it. Also, despite all that lovely foam forming at the top, this is a one hundred percent vegan cocktail as aquafaba is creating the foam. Pushing Daisy

Pushing Daisy

The Pushing Daisy cocktail by Mattias Skoog has such a great meaning to us. It was one of the first cocktails we tried at renowned bar Tjoget in our home town Stockholm. And the the first time we ever tried it was on my birthday back in May, and after that we've ordered it several times. So discovering the recipe for this, which we thought was like the world's biggest secret was almost a life changer. It turns out our buddy Anders visited Tjoget on a trip to Sweden and somehow miraculously mana

Vichy Cycle

Vichy Cycle

When traveling abroad we always try to bring back home some local spirits. So when we recently visited Berlin we bought a few small bottles of Kuemmerling, a “kräuterlikör” meaning it's made of herbs. Then started the search for the perfect cocktail in which this new acquisition would be able to shine. Soon we found the Vichy Cycle by Erik Hakkinen. It mixes the Kuemmerling with Calvados and dry vermouth, hence creating a rather bitter cocktail. The drink gets brown, rich and strong. It's real
