Pink is Cooler

cocktail Jul 9, 2019

Pink gins are sweeping the summer, and Gibson's kindly offered us to try their version. We wanted to turn it into a cooler, taking down the ABV and therefore allowing for bigger sips of this quencher.

We wanted to enhance the pink by mixing with Lillet Rouge and adding red Peychaud's bitters. Before the club soda is added the drink might look almost red in the glass, but that carbonated water turns everything pink in the end. The more water you add, the pinker the cocktail gets.

While we generally prefer classic gins over pink gins there is no denial this Gibson's pink gin is delicious and perfectly suited for summer!
