The Bitter Note is an Italian bitter liqueur that is completely alcohol free. It is made with several different botanicals, and it is similar in taste to many of the Italian amari that we like so much.⁣

When mixing with this product we also wanted to keep the completed cocktail alcohol free. So we mixed The Bitter Note with cold brew coffee concentrate from Sidekick Coldbrew as well as a few drops of lemon juice to balance the sweetness. To get a sparkling sensation we also added some soda water.⁣

We have to say this alcohol free liqueur impressed us. It is full a flavour, both bitter and sweet notes, and it has that typical amaro dark brown colour. A perfect bottle to keep ready in the fridge when there are guests preferring not to drink alcohol.

Clear ice is denser and melts more slowly, keeping your drink colder for longer without diluting its

A Spirit(ual) Journey Throughout the North of Sweden

It has always been on our wishlist, to tour the more northern parts of Sweden. Our interest in spirits and cocktails have taken us to many places in Sweden and abroad, but until now not really more north than Uppsala. Well this just changed, as we got the chance to pay a visit to gin producer Norrbottens Destilleri. And this was just the start of five fantastic days, driving between so many beautiful spots. Norrbottens Destilleri Töre, close to Kalix, is where Norrbottens Destilleri produce the
