It's kind of a Negroni riff this one, and it's made using only ingredients produced in Sweden.
Yellow Eye is a coffee infused rum liqueur. It has a quite noticeable coffee tone which we find so likable. We've always thought coffee flavour goes well in Negronis, so after tasting the Yellow Eye liqueur neat we immediately thought about using it in a Negroni.
Spriteriet's rosé vermouth has a bittersweet tone to it that we really appreciate. It's packed with flavour, which kind of explodes in your mouth in a most pleasant way.
And finally the new red bitter from Stockholms Bränneri adds a bit of drama to this cocktail. Bitter it is indeed, but at the same time fruity, lively and refreshing.
It was certainly nice to sip Swedish, feeling both fascinated, proud and happy that there are so many good domestic producers where we live.
