Pineapple juice gets almost a bit foamy when shaken, and that's one of the reasons we think it's such a cool cocktail ingredient. Of course it also tastes great, it has a certain defined sweetness that's hard to replicate with other fruit juices.⠀

If you make the juice yourself, using fresh pineapples, you are also left with one of the best cocktail garnishes - pineapple leaves. Their green color contrast so perfectly with the yellow juice, making the drink look very exotic.⠀

This cocktail makes full use of all the above advantages. We had fun prepping for it, shaking it and finally drinking it. Very delicious and very refreshing for sure!⠀

A Spirit(ual) Journey Throughout the North of Sweden

It has always been on our wishlist, to tour the more northern parts of Sweden. Our interest in spirits and cocktails have taken us to many places in Sweden and abroad, but until now not really more north than Uppsala. Well this just changed, as we got the chance to pay a visit to gin producer Norrbottens Destilleri. And this was just the start of five fantastic days, driving between so many beautiful spots.
