We're pretty sure you reacted to this recipe in the exact same way we did;⠀

- A quarter of an ounce of Peychaud's bitters?!?!?⠀

But yes, that is totally correct and not a recipe typo. There's something so liberating about removing that dropper from the bitter bottle and pour rather than dash from it.⠀

And have you tried Peychaud's on its own? It's absolutely fantastic and it has a very rich, almost sweet and chocolaty taste. It's definitely not as bitter as one could expect of a bitter…⠀

Peychaud's is intensely red, and when combined with almost equally red Punt e Mes vermouth this popping drink is born. Can't recommend giving it a try enough!

A Spirit(ual) Journey Throughout the North of Sweden

It has always been on our wishlist, to tour the more northern parts of Sweden. Our interest in spirits and cocktails have taken us to many places in Sweden and abroad, but until now not really more north than Uppsala. Well this just changed, as we got the chance to pay a visit to gin producer Norrbottens Destilleri. And this was just the start of five fantastic days, driving between so many beautiful spots.
