This recipe uses Amer Picon which is a bittersweet French orange-flavored aperitif. It is a common bottle throughout Europe, less so in the USA. In this drink it is combined with another super French product - green Chartreuse. The more unexpected addition is the tequila, not being very French at all. Nevertheless everything work beautifully together, and we found this cocktail to be both elegant and a bit modern and avantgarde at once.
