Guatemalan Square

Recipe by Sother Teague (from his book I'm just here for the drinks)

Ingredients

60 ml rum

30 ml rye

30 ml Carpano Antica

15 ml Dry Curaçao

2 dashes Angostura bitters

2 dashes Pechaud's bitters

Directions

1. In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine the rum, rye, sweet vermouth and dry curaçao .

2. Add the Angostura and Pechaud's bitters.

3. Stir well until chilled.

4. Strain into a chilled coupe or old-fashioned glass.

5. Garnish with a twist of orange peel, and enjoy the layers of flavor unfold with each sip.
